Newsweek reports, “According to NBC and Fox News, after Routh was found guilty, he tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen. Fox News reported that four Marshals dragged him out of the room, shackled him, and brought him back into the courtroom. Fox also reported that Routh’s daughter became emotional, vowed to get him out of jail while screaming expletives, then ran out of the courtroom.”
